Who we are
Weedy Garage Radio (WGR) is an independent music-discovery website. For privacy questions or requests, contact admin@weedygarageradio.xyz.
Information we collect
WGR may collect information you provide through contact forms, music submissions, copyright reports, Chatroom registration, password-reset requests and messages. This may include your name, email address, username, message content, official music or artwork links and report details.
The service also processes limited technical information needed for operation, security and moderation, including IP addresses, timestamps, session identifiers, login events, moderation actions and server or application logs.
Why we use information
We use information to provide accounts and Chatroom features, answer enquiries, review music submissions, process removal reports, prevent spam and misuse, protect artists and visitors, maintain the service and keep necessary records.
Depending on the activity, the lawful basis may be steps taken at your request, performance of a requested service, WGR's legitimate interests in running and protecting the website, compliance with a legal obligation, or consent where it is specifically requested.
Chatroom information
The Chatroom database retains no more than the newest 100 messages. Older messages are removed automatically. Account, moderation, security and audit records may be stored separately where reasonably needed to operate and protect the service.
Sharing and external providers
Authorised WGR administrators and service providers, such as website hosting and email providers, may process information where needed to operate the service. Official players and links from external music platforms operate under their own privacy policies and may process information in other countries. WGR does not sell personal information.
How long information is kept
Personal information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for its purpose, account administration, security, dispute handling and legal obligations. Submissions and reports may be retained while they are assessed and for a reasonable record-keeping period. Logs and backups are rotated according to operational need.
Your rights
UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, object to certain processing and request portability. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Rights depend on the circumstances and lawful basis. Contact admin@weedygarageradio.xyz; WGR may need to verify your identity.

Security, children and changes
WGR uses reasonable access controls, session protection, anti-spam checks and audit logging, but no online service is completely risk-free. WGR is not designed for children to submit personal information without appropriate permission. This notice may be updated when the service, providers or applicable rules change.
