Before submitting a report
Use this page for a genuine copyright or content-removal concern involving a WGR page, link, image or embed. WGR is based in the UK; the familiar “DMCA” name remains in the page address, but reports are reviewed under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, other applicable UK law and WGR’s notice-and-removal process.
What to include
- Your full legal name and reliable contact email.
- Your relationship to the rights owner and authority to act.
- A clear description of the original protected work.
- The exact WGR page URL containing the material, link or embed.
- Enough detail to identify what you want WGR to review.
- A good-faith confirmation and an electronic signature.
What happens next
WGR will assess whether the report contains enough information to locate the material and understand the claim. WGR may ask for clarification, preserve relevant records, restrict content while reviewing it, contact the person who supplied it, correct information, remove a link or embed, or explain why no action is taken.
Content hosted elsewhere
WGR frequently links to or embeds material hosted by another platform. Removing a WGR link or embed does not delete the source file. If you want the hosted file removed, use the reporting process supplied by the platform that stores it.
Accuracy and privacy
Submit only information needed for the report. WGR uses report details to investigate, communicate, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Information may be shared with the relevant submitter, provider, adviser or authority where reasonably necessary. Do not knowingly submit a false or misleading report.
Other requests
For a simple credit, title, image or link correction where ownership is not disputed, use /contact instead. The Copyright & Content Removal page explains WGR’s general approach.
Flyers, organiser images and forum uploads
You may report event-bot artwork, fallback organiser images, member uploads or journal images using the same form. Give the exact WGR URL and describe the specific image or excerpt so it can be located. WGR can restrict its own copy or link but cannot delete a file held by another provider.
Contact alternative
If the form is inaccessible or fails, send the report to admin@weedygarageradio.xyz. Do not attach unnecessary identity documents. A report does not guarantee removal without assessment, and the address /dmca-report does not imply that WGR has a registered US DMCA agent.
