Accessibility
Our aim
Weedy Garage Radio (WGR) aims to make its public website and administration tools usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including visitors using keyboards, zoom, high-contrast settings and assistive technology.
Measures used
WGR uses structured headings, labelled form controls, keyboard-accessible links and buttons, visible focus styles, responsive layouts, readable text and status messages that do not rely only on colour. Core public pages are checked at desktop and mobile sizes.
Known limitations
External players, artwork, captions, advertisements and authentication screens are controlled by their providers and may not offer the same accessibility. Some older artist or release images may have limited descriptions. Fast-moving Chatroom messages and embedded media can be difficult for some assistive technology.
Media alternatives
Playback never starts automatically. Where available, you can use the Open Platform link instead of the embedded player. If media cannot be accessed, contact WGR with the page and the information or alternative format you need.
Chatroom
The Chatroom can be read without sending a message. When it is in Read-only mode, existing messages remain visible but new messages are paused. Keyboard users should be able to reach sign-in, message, emoji and Send controls in a logical order.
Requesting help
Email admin@weedygarageradio.xyz if you cannot access information or complete a form. Include the page, what you were trying to do, the browser or assistive technology used and the adjustment that would help. WGR will consider a reasonable alternative.
Reporting a barrier
Accessibility problems can be reported through Contact or email. WGR aims to acknowledge reports and prioritise issues that block core tasks such as navigation, sign-in, contact, music submission or content reporting.
Ongoing review
Accessibility is an ongoing process. This statement and the website will be reviewed when major features or integrations change. WGR uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as a reference for improvements without claiming that every external component is fully conformant.
